In 1991, Dr. Bloom completed her Bachelor of Science in applied physiology, graduating summa cum laude from the University of California, Los Angeles. “As a hand and upper extremity specialist, I am privileged to help individuals of all ages. Some operations such as carpal tunnel releases and fixing distal radius fractures are so immediately beneficial that I never fail to be amazed at how successful these procedures are for individuals. I am very proud of my staff in their ability to treat our patients with kindness and respect.”

Dr. Bloom is a member of the American Society of Surgery of the Hand and a Diplomat of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. As a leader in her field, she has also co-authored several articles and book chapters for notable publications.

When not at work, Dr. Bloom enjoys riding her horse, walking her mini-Aussies, gardening, and bird watching.
