Shelby collaborates with Dr. Daniel Cowley, focusing on hip and knee replacement. She moved to Oregon from Austin, Texas, after a decade of physician assistant experience in the areas of orthopedic trauma, hand and upper extremity and reconstructive plastic surgery. Shelby obtained her Masters in Physician Assistant Studies from Des Moines University and completed her Bachelor of Science in psychology and neuroscience at Drake University.
Shelby is a certified by the National Commission for Certification of Physician Assistants. When not at work, she enjoys spending her time hiking, camping, cooking, and exploring new breweries with her husband and their two mastiffs.
