Jeffrey M. Jancuska, M.D.
About
Jeffrey M. Jancuska, M.D., is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in minimally invasive anterior hip and robotic knee replacement surgery. He provides care to patients at the Southern Oregon Orthopedics location in Medford, Oregon. Dr. Jancuska is MAKOplasty® certified and utilizes robotics for all partial and total knee replacements. He also has vast expertise in revision hip and knee replacements.
Dr. Jancuska attended the University of Southern California and graduated magna cum laude. He obtained his medical degree from New York University School of Medicine. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University at Buffalo and was selected to serve as Administrative Chief Resident.
Dr. Jancuska then pursued additional subspecialty training in hip and knee replacements at Harvard Medical School’s Massachusetts General Hospital. While at Harvard, Dr. Jancuska gained extensive experience performing complex primary and revision joint replacements. He is a member of the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons (AAHKS), the specialty society for surgeons focused on hip and knee replacement.
Dr. Jancuska is grateful to be able to perform first-time and revision hip and knee replacements to improve the lives of his patients day in and day out. He is dedicated to employing the latest advancements in surgical technology and techniques and providing patients with the knowledge they need to make an appropriate decision based on their unique symptoms. He believes in an individualized and evidence-based approach in order to promote safe, rapid recovery and help patients quickly return to an active lifestyle.
Originally from the East Coast, Dr. Jancuska was drawn to Southern Oregon Orthopedics for the opportunity to provide highly specialized orthopedic care in his wife’s native state of Oregon. He enjoys spending his free time outdoors hiking, biking, and skiing with his wife, son, and chocolate Lab.
