James Berking, P.A.-C.

James is a board-certified physician assistant who comes to Southern Oregon Orthopedics with nearly a decade of experience in urgent care and surgical settings. James earned his Master of Science degree in physician assistant studies from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. His academic background also includes postbaccalaureate health sciences studies at the University of Montana and a Bachelor of Science degree in environmental biology from the University of Vermont.

An avid adventurer and outdoor sports enthusiast, James brings the same energy and dedication to his practice as he does to the mountains, trails, and rivers of the Pacific Northwest. He enjoys travel, surfing, and whitewater kayaking.
